Who is ZipFlower?
ZipFlower is the virtual store of Yuldama Ltd., a company that produces and commercializes flowers, with more than 35 years of experience. Yuldama is located in Fusagasuga and has 2.75 hectares for the cultivation of gerbera flowers for export. We produce about 60,000 export quality stems a week, and these are the flowers that we sell through ZipFlower. Roses, sunflowers and other types of flowers that we sell through ZipFlower come from associated farms.
Unlike other virtual stores , the delivery of our flowers is direct becuase it is not based on the exchange of flowers between florists in the cities of destination. Our flowers are cut directly from the farm, allowing us to garantee our customers absolutely fresh flowers.
Why doesn't ZipFlower send the flowers the same day they are purchased?
ZipFlower sends its flowers the same day of the purchase. However, as we do not depened on the exchange of flowers bewteen florists in the different destination cities, our flowers arrive one or two days after the purchase (go to coverage). When our customers buy our flowers, a confirmation email is sent to the farm, where the flowers are cut, packaged in our unique boxes and shipped to their destination.
Who guarantees that my payment over the Internet is safe?
ZipFlower is associated with the Colombian internet payment company Pagosonline.net, who has the most advanced antifraud module in the country. Pagosonline.net is responsible for processing the payments, which means that ZipFlower does not have no access to our customers' credit card details. How can I make my flowers last longer?
ZipFlower guarantees its customers high quality flowers. All our products come with flower food, and to make the most of your flowers, we recommend you the following tips:
- choose a vase and clean it very well. You can use detergents or liquid antibacterials
- dissolve the flower food in water. Remember that it is normal for the flower to arrive close to its destination, as it has been sent directly from our farms the day after being cut. If you want your flowers to open faster, fill the vase with warm water
- measure approximately three centimeters from the base of the stem and cut diagonally. After cutting, remove any leaves from the bottom of the stem so that they are not covered with water and rot
- change the water every three days and add a pinch of sugar. Remove dead flowers that are falling down
- avoid exposing the flowers direclty to sunlight, heaters or air currents, as these shortens their life. The flowers last longer in low temperatures
- it is normal for the flowers to arrive a little bit dehydrated, but do not worry, follow the recommendations and we guarantee that in matter of hours, your flowers will look fresh and healthy. You can also disolve a commercial preservative in the water or simply add a few drops of lemon or orange (citrics). Citric acid increases the acidity of water, allowing the stem to absorb water more easily

What if the flowers don't arrive?
ZipFlower sends your flowers without any additional cost, as our prices include the delivery to any domestic destination, the inscription and Colombian taxes (IVA). Servientrega is directly responsible for any delays or damages during transportation. In any case, do not hesitate to contact us, so that we can help you as quickly as possible. Remember that you can only cancel your order 72 hours before the delivery date, and ZipFlower will give you back 75% of the price.
What if I receive damaged flowers?
ZipFlower guarantees you high quality and fresh flowers, and during the seven years we have been operating, we have never received any complaints about the quality of our flowers. If you are not satisfied with your flowers, call us or send us an email or fax immediately so that we can help you. Remember that you must contact us no later than 12 hours after receiving the flowers for your claim to be valid.

Can I buy flowers other than gerberas?
ZipFlower specializes in the production of gerbera flowers. However, we also have, roses, sunflowers, calla lylies, astromelias and hydrangeas in our website. These flowers are from associated farms and the process is exactly the same. The flowers are cut and shipped the day they are bought, which once again garantees that our customers receive fresh flowers of the highest quality.
